Thousands Taken in Home Burglary: Waukee Police Reports

July 8

An Ames man reported a burglary at a residence in the 100 block of Third Street. Items taken were valued at $3,339. The items taken were not released by police because of the ongoing investigation.

July 10

A resident in the 300 block of Northeast Satinwood Drive reported a burglary. The items taken are valued at $800. Because of the ongoing investigation officials didn't release a list of items reported stolen.
