Car Skids Into Casey's General Store: Waukee Police Reports

July 10

A vehicle driven by Erica Eubanks of 55 S.E. Windfield Parkway, Waukee, was pulling into the Casey's General Store at 20 W. Hickman Road. When Eubanks tried to stop, the brakes on her vehicle didn't work. Police said the vehicle struck a Dumpster and slid in the Casey's building. Eubanks was cited for failure to have a valid drivers license. Damage to the building a vehicle was estimated at $4,150.

A vehicle driven by Jenifer Schrag of 1903 N.W. Ash Drive, Ankeny, was westbound on Hickman Road and stopping for traffic at the intersection of North 10th Street when a vehicle driven by Nathaniel Jensen of 8901 Buena Vista Court, Urbandale tried to switch to the left lane. Police said Jensen's vehicle struck Schrag's vehicle. Damage was estimated at $10,000. Jensen was cited for failure to stop in an assured, clear distance.

July 11

A vehicle driven by Melissa Stimple of 1301 Eighth St., Dallas Center, was eastbound on Hickman Road and stopped at the intersection with Alice's Road. Police said Stimple's vehicle was stopped when a vehicle driven by Calem Campbell of 2507 135th St., Urbandale, attempted to switch lanes and struck the rear of Stimple's vehicle. Damage was estimated at $200. Campbell was cited for failure to stop in an assured, clear distance.
