Brian works double duty as a freelance writer, as well as an artist/designer. As a descendant of an advertising guru, he has the background, education, knowledge and ego to pull of some fairly neat tricks in the media world His latest passion is writing and blogging in the realm of college/amateur sports.
His artwork can be found in the skywalks of downtown Des Moines and his writing on shelves at your local book mega-store. Locally, Brian has covered a range of topics from Hawkeye sports, to his more regular gig as the "basketball guy" for a popular Nebraska Cornhusker blog. (Don't hold that against him). When he's not typing or drawing, Brian loves spending time with his three children, and occasionaly gets a chance to hit the town with one of the more lovely products of the Waukee community - his wife, Jen.
Born and raised in Omaha, Brian migrated to the Waukee area in 2001, and has since been slowly tasting the nuances of a smaller community living. With many familial networks stemming from the "old" Waukee, Brian is excited to contribute to the Patch network and report on various topics in and around town. <strong><br></strong>
