Smile! Waukee Family Dentistry Wins Patch's 'Best Dentist' Contest
They took the lead early in the contest and in the end, Waukee Family Dentistry took top honors in Patch's "Best Dentist" contest.
It was a fight to the teeth (pun totally intended) but one victor came out on top in Patch's Readers' Choice contest. With 46 of a total 114 votes, Waukee Family Dentistry was named the "Best Dentist" in Waukee. Walnut Hills Pediatric Dentistry came in a close second with 32 votes. Waukee Family Dentistry, located at 85 N.E. Warrior Lane, is owned and operated by two sisters - dentists Lisa and Tina Kurtz. In an interview given to Patch in December, the pair said they take the whole person - not just their smile - into account when treating patients. “We offer complete dentistry for every member of the family. I actually have worked for Lisa and Tina Kurtz at Waukee Family Dentistry so I can tell you how good they really are. They are genuinely concerned about the health of their patients.
