After years of working in her home, photographer Terry Snyder has opened a new studio space in Waukee.
It's been a few years since Waukee photographer Terry Snyder had studio space outside of her home, but as of Nov. 1, she's back in business. Situated in a strip mall near the corner of Alice's Road and Southeast Westbrook Drive in Waukee, Snyder Photography is open again at 475 Alice Rd. in Waukee. So much to talk about in today's Daily Dose - a sidewalk ordinance, time to vote and rain, rain and more rain chances.

Did you read about the Waukee City Council's tour of city sidewalks yesterday? The whole sidewalk ordinance is such a hot button topic right now and it feels like no one is in favor of it. What about you? Do you think the Waukee City Council should scrap the ordinance or keep it as is? Tell us in the comments. Good news for those folks who have yet to vote in Patch's "Best Photographer" contest - we've extended the deadline for votes. You now have until Sunday, April 29 at…

Our Readers' Choice poll for best Waukee photographer has been extended until Sunday, April 29 at 9 a.m. The winner will be announced on Monday.
Waukee photographers have been uploading their photos, and readers have spoken both with their comments and with their votes. The bug, we're happy to report, has been squashed. Now, with that bit of evil dead, we've decided to let Readers' Choice for best photographer live a couple of days longer than we'd planned, providing the opportunity for photographers to upload their photos and voters to vote for their favorites. (And for photographers who have already uploaded photos, feel free to add more to this story to really show off your work.) The new …
