Were the Burgers Better at Culver's? Brookview Food Critics Tell All

As part of an all-grade assignment, Brookview Elementary third-grade students reviewed five West Des Moines restaurants. Culver's got high marks for its cleanliness and great food.

The following critiques are the work of the third-grade students in Ginger Akason's class at Brookview Elementary School. Read about this all-inclusive project here. Other reviews from the assignment will run this week on Waukee and West Des Moines Patches. By Mason Myers My lunch at Culver’s was delightful! It was quiet so I could talk with my friends. It was the best! I had a delightful lunch at Culver’s because I had all of this savory food. The juicy, messy cheese curds were very spicy and warm. I had a cheeseburger and fries too. I loved it because those two foods go together. The cheeseburger was too crunchy. The fries were just right because they were warm. All of the food we had was very well seasoned.  When I ate, it was peaceful…

Great reviews by the kids. Of the restaurants reviewed so far, my fave is Culvers. I love the endless supply of fries at Red Robin -- yum -- but like the driveup option of Culvers AND the cheese curds are a great guilty pleasure.   more ›
