Waukee Food Pantry Conducts Thanksgiving Food Drive; Mickey's Irish Pub Pitches In
November is a month of need at the Waukee Area Christian Food Pantry.
There's no greater need for assistance at the Waukee Area Christian Food Pantry than during the holidays. That's why volunteers are busy preparing for the Food Pantry's annual "Share Your Feast Food Drive." In November, the Food Pantry gives families special Thanksgiving Feast food boxes complete with all the trimmings of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Items needed include: boxed stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, relishes, ingredients for green bean casserole and pumpkin pie, saltine crackers, corn muffin mix, fruit and Jell-o.
