Mickey's Irish Pub in Waukee triumphed over all others in Patch's "Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day" contest. Owned by husband and wife team Amy and Andy Walsh, Mickey's Irish Pub serves not only as the premiere place to celebrate the biggest Irish holiday this side of Ireland, but also doubles as a great neighborhood hangout serving drinks and food seven days a week. "We try to make Mickey's as comfortable a place as possible to come out and hang out. That's what makes Mickey's so popular," said Amy Walsh, co-owner of Mickey's Irish Pub.
