Waukee's Hunt is National High School Girls' Track Coach of the Year
Jesse Hunt led the Warriors to back-to-back Class 4A girls' state track championship
Waukee girls’ track coach Jesse Hunt, who led the Warriors to their second consecutive Class 4A state championship in May, has been named Gill Athletics national high school girls’ track coach of the year, according to a news release.
Gill, partnering with the National High School Track and Field Coaches’ Senate, is in its fourth year of sponsoring the national award given each year to a girls’ and a boys’ high school coach chosen by the national senate.
