USA Today Ranks Waukee in Top 20 in Iowa High School Football
Where do the Waukee Warriors stand as they get ready to start the football season Aug. 30 against West Des Moines Valley?
The Waukee Warriors look strong in football this year, according to the USA Today Sports Super 25 rankings, while defending state football champs Ankeny start off the year as the No. 1 team in Iowa.
USA Today has rankings for all 50 states.
MaxPreps ranks the Warrior No. 28 in Iowa. Waukee had a record of 8-3 last season. This year's season opens Aug. 30 at West Des Moines Valley.
