Who Won in Waukee's 7-Way School Board Race?
Growth in the Waukee school district, which has about eight times as many students as it did two decades ago, shaped the school board race.
Waukee voters re-elected Mary Scheve to a second term and elected three new members – David Cunningham, Wendy Liskey and Patrick Nehls – to the school board, the Des Moines Register reported.

Issues driving the race included rapid growth of the district, which now has about 8,000 students, and the use of technology to improve student learning. Waukee has one of the highest graduation rates in the state.
