What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up? Waukee Kids Have Their Say (WATCH)

Waukee is challenging its students to develop the creative thinking skills to solve problem they don't know exist yet.

"We know we are currently preparing students for jobs that don't yet exist using technologies that haven't yet been invented in order to solve problems we don't even know are problems yet" scrolls across the screen in a new Waukee Community School District video on the social media site YouTube.

It goes on to suggest that the great innovations in the 21st century will come from creative problem solving, not scientific research.

"The greatest innovations of the 21st century will be those that have helped to address human needs rather than those that have created the most profit," the video continues. "What if we created our own innovative culture?"

Watch the video to hear what students had to say when they were asked what innovative culture they would create and what they want to do when they grow up.
