Local and State Officials Fire Up Dallas County GOP Activists

"Super volunteers" from Waukee, West Des Moines, Urbandale and Perry also honored.

The Dallas County GOP held its Annual Steak Fry on Thursday, October 10, at Waukee South Middle School in Waukee. 

There were over 100 faithful DCGOP activists on hand to hear several local and state officeholders address the crowd. Governor Branstad was the keynote speaker along with six Senate candidates which included Sam Clovis, Joni Ernst, Matt Whitaker, David Young, Scott Schaben and Mark Jacobs.

Dallas County GOP raised well over $2,000 dollars to help fund their operations for the upcoming 2014 election. The Dallas County GOP also honored five Super-Volunteers Jim and Becky Ervin (Urbandale )Tom and Georgia Vincent (rural Perry) Phil Condo (West Des Moines) Alice Guisinger (Waukee) and Jodi Terry (Waukee).

State office holders Jake Chapman, Ralph Watts, and Clel Baudler and County officeholder Mark Hansen also address the crowd.

“It was another successful Dallas County Steak Fry for the DCGOP. As the fastest growing county in Iowa, it is important that we have strong and efficient organization in 2014. Right now, we have a solid group of fire up volunteers and a strong financial position to do just that,” commented Dallas County Co-Chair Tyler De Haan.
