Waukee Police Blotter
The Waukee Police Department responded to a handful of calls the week of Jan. 3-8 that included reports of driving while suspended or barred, OWI and theft and burglary to a vehicle.

Jan. 3
Paul Kritchard, 54, of Des Moines was charged with driving while barred.

Jan. 4
Ashley West, 21, of Urbandale was charged with operating while intoxicated. West was also cited with failure to maintain control.

Jan. 5
Robert Bailey of Alma, Ark., reported a theft from a vehicle in the 1400 block of East Hickman Road.
Jan. 6
Shawn Staley, 40, of Indianola was charged with driving while suspended. Staley was also cited for a stoplight violation and no proof of insurance.
Jan. 7
Madison Olson of Adel reported a burglary to a vehicle in the 200 block of Southeast Laurel Street.
Jan. 8
Alicia Winters, 29, of Ankeny was charged with driving while suspended.
