Bike Stolen, Identity Theft Reported: Waukee Police Reports

July 16

Vehicles driven by Jeffery Meyer of 2915 N.E. 51st Court, Des Moines, and Michael Watts of 675 Third St., Waukee, were westbound on Hickman Road and stopped at a light at Alice's Road. Police said a vehicle driven by Rachel Fitzpatrick of 555 S.E. Laurel St., Waukee, was westbound on Hickman Road and it struck Watts' vehicle when the light turned green. The impact pushed Watts' vehicle into Meyer's vehicle. Damage was estimated at $1,900. Fitzpatrick was cited for failure to maintain control.

Angela Christian of 865 Oakleaf Lane, Waukee, reported a bicycle was stolen; it was valued at $350.
