Susan Stocker of Waukee reported a case of identity theft.

A vehicle driven by Peggy Snyder of 808 Kellogg Ave., Dallas Center, was northbound on Sixth Street, going through the stop light at Hickman Road. Police said a vehicle driven by Stephanie Jarvis of 3123 Indianola Ave., Des Moines, was eastbound on Hickman and went through the light, striking Snyder's vehicle. Damage was estimated at $7,500. Jarvis was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

July 28

William Kuhlow, 34, of 827 Waterview Circle, Waukee, was arrested in the 1100 block of Southeast Westwood Drive and charged with OWI. 

July 29

Shawn Larsen, 24, of 485 Waukee Ave., Waukee, was arrested in the 100 block of Park Street and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
