Arrest Made for Assault With a Knife: Waukee Police Reports

Aug. 4

Brady Van Dusseldorp, 29, of 903 S.E. Delaware Ave., Ankeny was arrested in the first block of Southeast Laurel Street and charged with public intoxication and interference with official acts.

Calvin Waskow, 29, of 138 Lynch St., Des Moines, was arrested in the first block of Southeast Laurel Street and charged with public intoxication and interference with official acts.                            

A vehicle driven by Michael Thomas of 24572 N Avenue, Dallas Center, was northbound on Southeast Dartmoor Drive and stopped at a stop sign. Thomas attempted to turn right onto Hickman Road and stopped for a vehicle traveling eastbound on Hickman when a vehicle driven by Teresa Smith of 1770 92nd St., West Des Moines, reported rear-ended Thomas' vehicle. Damage was estimated at $1,200.

Aug. 5

James Madren, 31, of 450 Laurel St., Waukee, was arrested in the 400 block of Laurel Street and charged with assault with display of a weapon, in this case a knife.
