Lorraine Newell, 97, died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Methodist West Medical Center in West Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waukee, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Cremation will follow services and private burial of the cremated remains will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Jamaica, IA, at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Jamaica. Online condolences will be welcomed at IlesCares.com.
