Help bring awareness to Parkinson’s disease, a progressive neurological disease that affects over 1 million Americans. There is no cure, therapy, or drug to slow or halt the progression of Parkinson’s disease and we need increased education and research to help find more effective treatments with fewer side effects and, ultimately, an effective treatment or cure for Parkinson’s disease.
Exercise is now being scientifically studied and the Iowa Chapter of APDA is sponsoring fitness trainers across the State of Iowa to be trained in PD specific exercise programs. Come help the IA Chapter support research in their mission to Ease the Burden and Find a Cure.
