Light the tRAIL for Art - Glow Ride

A Series of summer fun bike rides with glow sticks and lights to support art at the Waukee trailhead of the Raccoon River Valley Trail.

Riders can enjoy a tasty dinner and drinks at Rendezvous Lounge or the Longest Yard before joining their colorful compatriots on the ride back to Waukee. There, we’ll announce contest winners and have the opportunity to enjoy drinks with friends— maybe even brave Mickey’s karaoke stage.

In addition to honoring the memory of local bike enthusiast, Jack Jordison, we’re raising money to support an exciting new public art installation at the Waukee Trailhead. Our fundraising goal is $15,000 to support installation of the Waukee Railroad Pergola. The project will bring area history to life through its railroad inspired design and will provide a gathering place for community members. For information on this exciting community project, please visit WaukeeTrailheadArt.org.
