Tuesdays on the Triangle Kicks Off June 4 with Teen Country Artist

Country singer Sydney Lett will kick off the free June concert series next week. Her original songs include works on Iowa's soldiers and bullying.

The Waukee Area Arts Council presents Tuesdays on the Triangle, a weekly free concert in June sponsored by Stivers Ford Lincoln.

Every Tuesday in June catch a performance at Triangle Park in downtown Waukee, Sixth Street and Ashworth Drive. The performances begin at 7 p.m. and last about two hours. The rain location will be ArtsCentral, 405 Maple St., the release said.

“This will be the third year for Tuesdays on the Triangle and we have a great lineup of performers again this year,” said Elaine Frank, Waukee Area Arts Council board member. “This is a great opportunity for the community to come together so bring your lawn chair, bring your neighbors and enjoy a free concert.”

The lineup includes: June 4, Sydney Lett, country singer and band; June 11, Java Jews, Yiddish and Hebrew melodies combined with jazz and Dixieland; June 18, Michael Hope, acoustic guitar and vocals; and June 25, Exit 113, playing 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s rock n roll.
