Java Jews to Perform This Week at Tuesdays on the Triangle

Enjoy a mix of Yiddish and Hebrew melodies combined with jazz and Dixieland at the Tuesdays on the Triangle free summer music series.

Head to the Waukee Triangle Tuesday for a fun mix of Yiddish and Hebrew melodies melded with jazz and Dixieland when the Java Jews perform.

The Waukee Area Arts Council presents Tuesdays on the Triangle Sponsored by Stivers Ford Lincoln. A free concert is presented every Tuesday in June at Triangle Park in Downtown Waukee, Sixth and Ashworth Drive, according to a news release.

The performances begin at 7 p.m. and last about two hours. Rain location will be ArtsCentral, 405 Maple St., just two blocks Northeast of the Triangle.

The remaining lineup features: Tuesday, June 11th – Java Jews – Yiddish and Hebrew melodies combined with Jazz & Dixieland; Tuesday, June 18th Michael Hope – Acoustic Guitar and Vocals; and Tuesday June 25th – Exit 113, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s Rock n Roll.
