Get Crafty: Sign Up for Saturday Mother's Day Gift Workshop

From a Waukee Area Arts Council news release:

The Waukee Area Arts Council is holding Adult/Child Gift Workshops. There is still time to attend; call today to save a spot.

There will be two separate workshops to make a unique gift and card for someone special. The Mother’s Day Gift Workshop will be held Saturday, May 4, from 9–11 a.m.

The Father’s Day Gift Workshop will be held Saturday, June 8, from 9–11 a.m.

"Handmade gifts are the most treasured and we are very excited for all those who will receive one from the child who will attend our Mother's and Father's day workshops!" said Missy Collins, Waukee Area Arts Council Board Member. "We are giving adults and child quality time together to create a personalized gift for a special person in the life." 

The cost is $15 per adult and child; all the materials are provided plus a snack. Workshops are held at ArtsCentral, 405 Maple St. in Waukee.
