I know how you are feeling but I know as much as you want him to change he probably won't. I know my ex never did or never will but he is no longer my problem and someone else gets to have the heartache that I once had. It's a cycle they will continue until they figure themselves out, unfortunately men can't be alone like women can so they never have the time to heal. Emotional abuse is much worse than physical...the bruises take much longer to heal and people don't understand because they don't see those bruises. Hold your head up high, be proud of who you are as a person and know that you deserve better. I have finally met someone who will love me the way I deserve and not give me empty, broken promises and lies. If this man tells you that you are crazy, did things wrong and are to blame....know he is only saying those words to make himself feel better....major red flag of an emotional abuser. I don't know you but I am sure you are "above" him.
