6 Reasons to Post an Announcement to Waukee Patch

Use our free Announcements Board to share about nuptials, anniversaries, births, fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, and lost and found notices.

Just married or recently engaged? Share the good news with the community by using our new, free Announcements Board.  Don't forget to include photos of the happy couple's first dance or a funny shot of the entire wedding party! We'll make sure it gets featured on the homepage, in our email newsletter and on social media.

Here are five others reasons to use the Announcements Board:

1. A New Birth Announce the birth of your first-born and share pictures of his or her precious tiny feet and hands.

4. And Call for Some Helping Hands Place a call out for volunteers.  Be sure to include details and contact information.

5. Keep an Eye Out for the Missing Family Friend Increase the odds of finding your missing pet or reuniting a found one with its family by posting a lost/found announcement (with a picture).

These are just some of the uses for the announcement board – it's a public resource that you can make use of to spread the word in the way you want.

To post to the board: Make sure you're logged in or, if you haven't yet, create a Patch account first. Then to post, just follow this link and enter your information into the text box asking "What's Up?" Then click on the green "Post" button to finish. Tip: You can edit your announcement after it has been posted.
