Join in the fun of Waukee's annual 4th of July festivities.
Start your day with a Fun Run sponsored by Waukee Troop 178. The race begins at 8 a.m. at the Waukee North Middle School (905 Warrior Lane). Click here to download the form.
Continue the festivities with a parade that begins at 2 p.m. at the old Waukee Elementary School (5th & Locust) and ends at the Waukee North Middle School parking lot.
Then, head on over to Centennial Park for a wide variety of entertainment and live music provided from 6-9:30 p.m. Don't forget your lawn chairs for the fabulous fireworks display that will begin after dusk, approximately 9:30 p.m.

More About Centennial Park
Centennial Park is a part of the Waukee Parks and Trails system. It is a 33-acre area of land filled with sports and recreational activity areas. There are three baseball fields, two sand volleyball courts, a nine-hole golf course, a basketball court and three playgrounds. There also are open spaces available for independent activity and family picnics. The park grounds also features a creek and a covered bridge.
