How to Narrow Down a Price Point on a Prospective Home Search: Keeping it Real (Estate) with Deanna -

A lot of buyers search in a 10K price range, for example, 210 to 220K.

And that’s fine, they may want to keep their home close to the 210K mark, but will consider looking at 220K if they have every single item on their musts and wants list.

However, some buyers will call and say they are looking between 100K and 200K.

Wow, there’s a big difference on what you can buy for 100K and what you can buy for 200K.

To save time and frustration, write down exactly what you must have in a home as well as what you would desire in a home. Then meet with a real estate professional to get a clear sense of the market and what price point you will likely find all your musts and desires.

This will simplify the process and make house hunting a lot more enjoyable.

Kind Regards,

Deanna

I imagine it can also be intimidating for first time buyers to determine their budget. Are their any guidelines or rules of hand they should follow?
