Former Waukee Middle School Assistant Principal Heads to Ankeny
Jodie Graham, a former assistant principal at Waukee Middle School, has been hired to be the new assistant principal at Ankeny High School in Ankeny.
The Ankeny Community School district has hired Jodie Graham, a former assistant principal at Waukee Middle School, to their administration staff.
Graham, according to a story on The Des Moines Register's website, will be the new assistant principal at Ankeny High School.
Graham will begin her duties at the high school effective July 1.
The announcement comes on the heels of another former Waukee administrator taking on a new position in Ankeny. Bruce Kimpston, former assistant superintendent of human resources for the Waukee school district, was named the new superintendent of Ankeny schools Monday night.
Kimpston replaces outgoing superintendent Matthew Wendt, who resigned last week to take a job in the Oswego, Ill. Kimpston has been with Ankeny schools since 2009.

Mrs. Graham was not the assistant principal at Waukee Middle School this past year. The Register's article was incorrect and clearly not fact checked- that is the risk Patch runs when they copy content from the Register.

Joe, thank you for the clarification. I have edited the story to reflect Mrs. Graham's former status as assistant principal at Waukee Middle School. You should be aware that Patch does not "copy content" as was suggested. When other news organizations report news about the city of Waukee that I may not have been aware of, I often pick up the article and link out to it for our readers, attributing it to the original source.
