Waukee High School graduated the class of 2012 Monday night at the Knapp Center on the Drake University campus.

About 313 graduates crossed the stage on their way to bigger and better things - college, the working world, the military - with smiles on their faces and diplomas in hand.

Seniors Kristin Housholder, Violet Saylor and Michael Sacco gave the opening, senior address and closing remarks, respectively, while Waukee High School Principal Kirk Johnson gave out the academic honors.
