The Waukee boys and girls track teams competed in the Iowa State High School Association 2012 Track Meet over the weekend in Des Moines.
The boys team finished in two races while the girls competed in seven different events in the state class 4A competition held at Drake Stadium on the Drake University Campus in Des Moines

Amazing coverage but you missed a few special highlights from this weekend. On Thursday the boys and girls 4x800 teams, along with high jumper Maddie Rouw won state state titles. The Waukee girls team scored in 16 of 19 events to bring the state team title home to Waukee. A very exciting weekend. Way to go Warrior girls!
