UPDATE: Taylor Hale Moved Out of Intensive Care
An update posted this morning on Taylor Hale's CarePages website said the 14 year-old has been moved out of the ICU and into her own room.
Taylor Hale, the 14 year-old Waukee teen who was severely injured after falling off a moving car Sept. 9, has been moved to her own room at Blank Children's Hospital and is out of the intensive care unit.
An update on Hale's CarePages page, posted this morning by her mother, Stacy Henningsen, said:
"I'm happy to say that yesterday afternoon Taylor was moved out of ICU and onto the pediatric floor where she will continue the long road to rehabilitation.
Taylor is still not allowed visitors at this time and doctors will let us know when she can start to have friends visit. Until then continue to pray for a full recovery and lots of rest as each day will continue to grow more exhausting for her."
A fundraiser to help the Hale family with medical expenses was held Friday; bracelets were sold before and during the homecoming football game. Donations are also being accepted at area Casey's General Store and Kum & Go locations.
