Police Blotter: Accidents and a Suspended Drunk Driver in Waukee

Waukee police responded to two accidents and a suspended drunk driver, all on the same day last week.

July 31

A vehicle driven by Denys Hunsicker of Stuart struck a legally parked vehicle in the 400 block of North Deming Street. Vehicle damage was estimated at $3,000.

A vehicle driven by Jason Clemens of Winterset struck a deer in the 30000 block of Ute Avenue. Vehicle damage was estimated at $25,000.

Jamie Wilson, 46, of Adel was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated (first offense), possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while suspended.
