PHOTOS: Mini Coopers Invade Waukee Church Parking Lot

Hundreds of Mini Coopers converged on the Point of Grace church parking lot Tuesday morning as part of the "Mini Takes the States" car rally. The event was sponsored by the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce.

Hundreds of Mini Coopers, their owners and curious onlookers converged on the parking lot of the Point of Grace church today for the 's Breakfast Before Business event.

The Chamber, in conjunction with the Willis Auto Campus, welcomed the "Mini Takes the States" tour to Waukee. "Mini Takes the States" is a coast-to-coast road trip driven by hundreds of Mini Cooper owners with Los Angeles being the final destination. It's the fourth bi-annual excursion of the "Mini Takes the State" road rally.

In addition to the car-gazing, attendees could get breakfast made by members of the . The proceeds benefited the Waukee Firefighter Association.

After the conclusion of the rally in Waukee, Mini drivers were off to the next stop in Lincoln, Neb. If everything goes as planned, the tour will end in Los Angeles on July 15.
