Police: Three Juveniles Arrested Last Week in Waukee
Waukee Police responded to several calls last week, May 7-12, including three separate incidents involving juveniles.
What stood out more than an unusual number of thefts was three reported incidents involving juveniles.
On May 8, around 3:30 p.m., police responded to a report at Waukee High School involving two male juveniles engaged in an argument.
One of the young men let the air out of the others tire which started a physical altercation between the two.
A 16 year-old male was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct in response to the incident.
Then, on May 9, in a separate incident, a juvenile male was arrested and charged with criminal mischief for letting the air out of another person's tire.
Lastly, on May 11, a 16 year-old West Des Moines man was pulled over in the 100 block of Southeast Ashworth Drive. Police reportedly stopped the juvenile's car for insufficient use of headlights.
Once the driver was stopped, Waukee Police searched the vehicle and found marijuana. The driver was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance.
