Nominations for grants to help improve the quality of life in Dallas County can be submitted until early April.
News Release from the Dallas County Foundation:
The Dallas County Foundation is a charitable foundation created by and for local citizens to improve the quality of life right here in our communities. We are here to help donors make a positive, local impact by offering a variety of giving tools to help people achieve their charitable giving goals and do good work in our communities that lasts forever.

January – April 8th: Application will be received January 1, 2013 thru Monday April 8, 2013
April 2013: Grant Committee to meet on Monday April 22, 2013 to review Applications
May 2013: Recommended Applications presented at the Board Meeting May 20, 2013
June 2013: Checks requested from Greater Des Moines Community Foundation
July 2013: Checks received from Greater Des Moines Community Foundation
September 2013: Awards Presentation Tuesday, September 17, 2013

If you want to learn more about the Dallas County Foundation grant process, plan to attend one of the following seminars where we will walk you through the grant application and answer any question regarding the selection process. Our public workshops are all free, open to the public and begin at 6:30 p.m.
