3) Waukee Area Food Pantry Services

Waukee Area Christian Services Food Pantry is open today from 9-11 a.m. offering non-perishable food and personal items for those living in the Waukee School District or those with approval from local churches. The food pantry is located in the lower level of Westview Church.

4) Activities at the Waukee Public Library

Looking for something fun to do for the kids today? Why not take a class at the Waukee Public Library? Time for Twos is for toddlers 2-3 years-old. Children and caregivers will enjoy songs, finger plays, and read-aloud stories, followed by playtime. Time for Twos meets at 11 a.m.

Pajama Time family story time will be held tonight at 6:45 p.m. It's open to the entire family.

The Waukee High School girls varsity and JV tennis teams face Ankeny at Prairieridge Middle School (Ankeny) at 4:15 p.m.

The Waukee High School boys varsity and JV tennis teams take on Southeast Polk at Waukee High School at 4:15 p.m.

The boys 9th grade soccer team plays Urbandale at Urbandale High School at 4:45 p.m.

The Waukee and South Middle Schools 8th grade combined track meet vs. Ames Middle School is at Ames High School at 4:45 p.m.

The Waukee High School varsity and JV boys track meet vs. Indianola at Simpson College at 5 p.m.

The Waukee High School boys JV soccer team faces Urbandale at Urbandale High School at 6 p.m. The varsity game will follow at 7:30 p.m.
