When we set out to name Patch's "Best Place to Watch the Game," we had no idea what bar would come out the victor.
In a last minute push, fans of Chop's Old Bank on Waukee's historic downtown Triangle came out in full force to push this neighborhood bar over the top in terms of votes.
Chop's beat out four other Waukee bars - Mickey's Irish Pub, Legacy Sports Bar & Grill, Kenny's Pub and SideTrack Pub - to take the crown with 28 votes overall. Mickey's Irish Pub was in second place with 21 votes.
Make sure to stop by Chop's Old Bank this weekend to catch the final game in the NCAA Basketball Tournament pitting Kentucky vs. Kansas.
