May 7-11 the United Way of Central Iowa's Women's Leadership Connection is sponsoring a community-wide book drive.

People are encouraged to donate gently used or new books for distribution to the WLC-sponsored early childhodd development centers and homes throughout the Greater Des Moines area.

The weeklong book drive will culminate with a celebration at Aviva Friday, May 11 at 9 a.m. Please consider doing your part to boost literacy in our children!
